This Adventurous Engagement Session in North Carolina was one of my favorites because I got to photograph two close friends and tell their love story, which I’ve had the privilege of watching the entire time. It’s a good story that you’ll definitely want to know:
I remember sitting in a coffee shop with Sydney a couple years ago…Sydney was my first friend when I moved to Greenville, SC. We were both brand new nurses in the hospital (yes, I was a nurse back in the day). We often met for coffee because really, we just clicked from the beginning. This one day, we were sitting in The Landmark Project x Methodical (one of my favorite Greenville coffee shops) and she told me about this guy she had met on a run with friends. He was originally from Greenville, but was living in Germany at the time. He was back in Greenville visiting family and friends, and his friends happened to also be Sydney’s as well.
I followed their story the entire time. They wrote letters back and forth for months, Sydney went to visit him and arrived home safely days before the pandemic started (a miracle!), Drew moved back to Greenville…and well, the rest is history! These two have the sweetest relationship and they love Jesus so much. This was such a wonderful North Carolina engagement session, I am beyond excited to photograph their intimate backyard wedding in North Carolina in December!
I am super ready to get back to Carver’s Gap in North Carolina…so if you want to book your engagement session there, you know I’m your girl!
