Playful Romance at the Swan House | Lamar & Grace’s Styled Wedding Session
As a documentary wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to venues that feel both timeless and alive — places where couples can fully be themselves while surrounded by beauty. The Swan House at the Atlanta History Center is one of those rare spaces. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Lamar and Grace, a real-life married couple from Texas, during a joyful styled shoot at the Swan House. This session was full of laughter, gentle touches, and so much genuine affection — the kind of love that feels light and unshakable. Their chemistry made photographing them an absolute breeze, and the photos we created together are some of my favorites to date.
Grace wore a light, ethereal gown with long sleeves that moved beautifully with the breeze — soft, romantic, and effortlessly elegant. Lamar looked incredible in a deep green suit, accented with a floral brooch that tied into the garden-inspired theme of the day. The florals featured soft pinks and greens, bringing a fresh, whimsical energy to the shoot.
